The girls at Avonbourne have responded to the crisis in China by raising funds at a special lunchtime concert.

The event was a spontaneous event, with the staff and the girls involved in singing, dancing and acting. ‘We thought something needed to be done straight away, so we went to Miss Basing, who promoted the concert’ one student said.
The concert was organised by one of the mini-companies in the school, 'Spotlight' and raised a considerable sum of money (total still being calculated!).
Separate to the main lunchtime event, 7B2 alone raised a massive £60 through running a variety of events and stalls.
Thank you for your support and well done to everyone involved and who gave money.
