Food technology
We want students at Avonbourne to be capable and confident young ladies who enjoy producing healthy, nutritious dishes.
 
By the end of key stage 3 students are capable of reading a recipe and a method, able to handle a range of equipment and foods and have the confidence to experiment with new foods. Students should have a thorough understanding of healthy eating and awareness of the consequences of a poor diet.
