KS4 information

All pupils study a GCSE Short Course in Religious Studies (WJEC), except those who choose to do the Religious Studies Full Course (OCR). The results are excellent in both these GCSE courses as many pupils are able to apply their thinking skills (which we develop throughout KS3) to the evaluation questions.

There is no coursework in the WJEC Short Course syllabus. In the OCR Full Course Option the students do two pieces of coursework, one for each religion studied, which count towards 20% of their final grade.
